Hey Jeff. I'm using 3ds Max 2011 x64 with Windows 7 x64

I downloaded the file and replaced the original adsk_Utility_Shaders.mi from the mentalimages folder (remembering to backup the original, of course). But when I try rendering something with the Utility Bump combiner, nothing shows up at all. ]]>

@Francis: NP, glad you solved it.

@Erkan: Could be any number of things. Not sure what to say other than make sure to log any defects at the Autodesk site so they can fix the problems.

Nevermind that, I figured why I'm having errors writing the IP map - Windows 7 is preventing it. ]]>

Hi Jeff, I'm currently trying the Ctrl.Ghost plugin. Forgive me if this sounds stupid but how do you save the IP map? ]]>

I use a plugin or program to create trees. I used Onyx Tree for this quick tutorial: http://www.onyxtree.com/stormx.html

There are other options like: http://seek.autodesk.com/search/xfrog?source=QuickLinks&resetft=true
and
http://arbaro.sourceforge.net/
