I started doing freelance CG in 2003. I’ve been fortunate to work with several companies/brands throughout the years and make some great friends in the process.
AI is shaking up the CG industry right now (2026). Jobs are being lost, good people are being displaced. The CG industry, and many others, are in a state of turmoil. I can’t offer concrete insight on where it’s going or the best path forward. However, I know someone that can help us get through this and other tribulations in life. Allow me to point you to some words of hope:
Jeremiah 29:11 – “‘For I know the plans I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.'”
Proverbs 3:5-6 – “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.”
1 Peter 5:7 – “Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.”
